What are the numbers on the side and top?
These are 'Hints'. They tell you the length of consecutive filled cells in that row or column. For example, '3 1' means there is a block of 3 filled cells, followed by at least one empty space, and then a single filled cell.
What kind of images work best?
Simple icons, high-contrast logos, and pixel-art style images work best. Because the grid size is small (e.g., 10x10), detailed photos will lose most of their clarity. Use the 'Threshold' slider to fine-tune the conversion.
How do I create my own pattern?
Use the 'Manual Drawing' mode. You can click or drag over cells to toggle them. Use the Pencil tool to fill cells and the Eraser tool to clear them.
